New Covid Vaccine Registration System for SA Health Workers

With the health worker registration closure on EVDS, a new registration system exclusively for Health workers can now be accessed here. The old system had to be shut down following the widespread registration of non-health workers. The shutting down of the system did not affect anyone who had already registered but did affect those who had not yet registered.

New site for registrations: healthcare workers can still get vaccinated

The National Department of Health has partnered with the private sector to develop a new site for health workers who wish to register for the COVID-19 vaccine. The site can be accessed at: https://bookings.v4hcw.co.za

Important points to note about V4HWC

The site is open to the private sector and the public sector. The site is only open to active health workers registered with the following statutory bodies:

  • HPCSA

  • AHPCSA

  • SANC

  • ICPA

  • SAPC

For those health workers not registered with one of the organisations listed in point 2, the National Department of Health has indicated that they are working on a solution so that they can register. This solution is not yet ready.

This communication must be read together with the accompanying document: How to register on V4HCW portal
