Night Run for Nurses: The National Lucky Draw

Lace up. Wherever you are on the evening of 19 September, 7 km could win you a R1,000 Sorbet gift card.

The Night Run to Honour Nurses is a 7 km evening event along Cape Town's Promenade, starting at the Mouille Point Lighthouse, hosted by The Exceptional Nurse Campaign to raise funds for training exceptional nurses. It's family-friendly and open to everyone, but for one evening a year, the whole route belongs to nurses. A24Group nurses will be there on the night. Are you running for team Ambition24hours or Nursing Services of South Africa

Can't make it to Cape Town? You don't have to miss out. Run, jog or walk your own 7 km wherever you are that same evening, send us your proof, and you're entered into the national Lucky Draw for a R1,000 Sorbet gift card.

How to enter

  1. Complete 7 km on foot, on 19 September 2026, either at the official Cape Town Night Run for Nurses or on your own route wherever you are.

  2. Take a dated screenshot from your running app or watch, or a photo of yourself on the route.

  3. Email your proof, name, email and province to newsletter@a24.co.za

Every valid entry is checked against these requirements, then one winner is chosen completely at random, no skill or judging involved, from everyone who qualifies.

FAQ

Do I have to run in Cape Town to enter? No. The national leg is open to any registered A24Group nurse, anywhere in South Africa. Run your own 7 km that evening and send proof.

What counts as proof? A dated screenshot from a running app or watch showing your 7 km on 19 September 2026, or a photo of yourself on the Night Run for Nurses route, along with your name, email and province.

Can I enter more than once? No, one entry per person.

Is A24Group affiliated with the Night Run or with Sorbet? No. This Lucky Draw is run independently by A24Group. It isn't sponsored by, or affiliated with, The Exceptional Nurse Campaign, the Night Run to Honour Nurses event, or Sorbet.
